Committee Reports: Repeater: K8RSP reported that the repeater was functioning well now that the interference problem with John Glen International Airport has been resolved. Echolink: KD8GRN reported that Echolink is installed and working well. The radio however had to be replaced recently because the old one lost its CTCSS. Geoff re-adjusted the audio gain and the new radio sounds great. VE Exams: KD8ZG reported that the VE team's next test session will most likely be at 9 AM on the first Saturday in December. Nominations: N8WL reported that three of the four officer positions have potential candidates willing to run. We are still accepting nominations from the membership. N4DLR explained he would like to conduct elections by paper and email this year so that we have a newly elected slate of officers for our December meeting. The last day to submit a vote was proposed to be December 14. More information on the procedure will be forthcoming. WA8LBZ questioned why the website was inaccessible. KD8WK explained that the Wordpress website that we had been using had been taken down and, as a result, the Secretary's website has been temporarily pressed into service in its stead. Eventually, the current thinking is that we'll bring the original website residing on qsl.net up-to-date and revert to it instead. The next meeting will take place on Thursday, December 21st, at the New Albany branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Two door prizes were won by KD8OQA and WD8ODC respectively. The meeting was adjourned at 7 PM. An insightful presentation on Emergency Communications Protocols and Preparations in the Health Care Industry and how they prepare to deal with Disasters and Catastrophes was delivered by Brian Saul of OhioHealth. Respectfully submitted, Rob Stampfli / KD8WK CRES-ARC Secretary
