Balance on hand $6540.81 2018 Paid members 57 Repeater K8RSP Minor problem of the voter circuit is not reporting accurately. The issue during the net of no fully dropping is suspected weak signal conditions. It is not a problem for RF stations just go ahead and talk over it, your signal should be strong enough. Only issue is Echolink cannot get into the repeater until it fully drops. VE Report KD8ZG We had 11 VEs and 3 test takers 2 passed upgrade to general. Next test session will probably be the first Saturday in December if the church is available. Art asked for input via email at KD8ZG@arrl.net about thoughts on moving the normally August test session back to September in order to not compete with the test session at the Columbus hamfest. Field Day W3CRZ is stepping down as Field Day Chairman. We are looking for another volunteer. New Business Concern was expressed that when searching CRES ARC on google the several pages came up. One is current others are outdated. While we cannot not stop google from returning sites that are outdated, at the time these minutes were written the QSL.Net/W8ZPF page has been taken down. Thanks Rob. Four members of the VE team do not have polo shirts Art was given permission to purchase shirts for them. Question was purposed that maybe we have club shirts made. Art will check on pricing and availability of shirts for the club. Sometime in the next month we will be sending out a survey about Field Day and general club activities we would like everyone to honestly respond to. The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 PM. The next meeting is Thursday October 18 at the New Albany Branch of the Columbus Public Library. See you all there. Cake was served to everyone in honor of KE8CRL's birthday. The meeting was followed presentation by Mike Mickelson KD8DZ about GPS disciplined oscillators. What they are and how to use one. Russell Ward CRES ARC Secretary
