The CRES Amateur Radio Club held the August general membership meeting on Thursday, August 14, at the New Albany branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library. All the attendees introduced themselves. The previous meeting minutes were published not published yet. Treasurer's Report Balance on hand $6534.95 2019 Paid members 45 Repeater no known issues. News that the Squirrel has been located and dealt with. VE Report test session was held on July 13 at Parkview Presbyterian Church. Results; 3 upgrades to Extra 1 upgrade to general next test session will be probably be the first Saturday in December. Field Day Field Day got off to a slow start this year with no chair but ended well. We had a decent score. Several operators showed up. We ran 3 stations almost the entire 24 hours. Thanks to everyone who participated. The next meeting is October 24 at the Reynoldsburg branch of the Columbus Public Library. This months Presentation was "what have you been working on?" with presentations by several members about the projects they have been working on. Thanks for sharing.
