The CRES Amateur Radio Club held the fourth general membership meeting on
Thursday, september, 24. This was another online meeting using ZOOM. The

President W9ARD called the meeting to order at 6:45 PM.

Secretary's minutes
Motion to approve by K8RSP second by N9CX.
The previous meeting minutes were approved unanimously.

Treasurer's Report
We currently have $5924.72 and 50 paid members
Motion to approve treasurer report by W8ARD second by WA8LBZ
Treasurer's report unanimously approved.

Repeater
The repeater is sometimes dropping out randomly; it comes back after a few
minutes. We are working on solving the problems.

VE Report
The last test session was on August 22.Thanks to Bill Wiggers K3YBI for
allowing us to use his QTH again. Thirteen persons pre registered for the
session. 10 people actually sat for testing. resulting in 7 new technicians
and 3 upgrades to general class.

Field Day
This year's Field day was a socially distant event, operating from home if
you could. 21 club members submitted logs containing at least one contact
to be entered in the drawing for a $250.00Universal Radio gift certificate.
Anna Ward drew a number from the entrants and John Lawson W8AGS was the
winner. Scores will be published for all participants by email.
Infirmary Mound Park still has our name on their schedule for next year so
hopefully we will have a more normal field day in 2021.

Meeting was followed by a great presentation by Micheal Kalter W8CI
who is Currently running for ARRL Great Lakes Director.  Also present
were K3LR Tim Duffy- DX Engineering, WB2GMP Carole Perry- Ham Radio
Educator,and N4BCD Mark Brown- Huntsville Hamfest Chair
